The crew of Stardrive grew up in a little stinky corner of the Great Cumanian area, which is located in the southeast of Hungary. Some people hates this windy, dusty lowland, but for some others there is something unexplainable attractive force of it. In the '90s all of the members used to join other bands, but after awhile all those groups broke up. At that time many musician moved to the capitol city to find a better job, a better life, except these guys. They found themselves left to their own devices and dependent on each other. Learned how to live through hard times in the countryside, learned how to survive day by day. So the Stardrive started out in 2001 to chant all those things that surround them. Since the changes of Eastern Europe nothing really changed in their life, except they found their own roots in this dried out, lick wasteland. Stardrive's music is fueled by the mysterious spirit of this land and the gripping feelings of struggled diurnal life. Shortly the band found its own way and about ten years became the most pronounced and significant rock group of the Cumanian area.
